Do Ouija Boards Work?
Do Ouija boards work? The answer is yes they do, and very often they work too well!
Occult Warnings
Before continuing with how they work I'm first going to issue some warnings to anyone that is looking to just have fun or "dabble" into the occult, or the would-be paranormal investigator. Please, just don't do it.
I was recently discussing this subject with an associate of mine that also does Spirit Release work. He pleaded with me to remove any pages on my site that made reference to this subject because of all the people he had to help because they thought it would be fun to play this seemingly harmless game. I was in complete agreement with him about the risks of any kind of ghost or spirit communications.
So please before even thinking about going into any of these types of activities please know that it happens too often that people with just a curiosity end up becoming haunted or even having spirits attach as a result.
Personally, the only kind of communications that I engage in with the spirit-world is with my own personal spirit guides or helping spirits to cross-over. And that's all I would ever recommend to most of my readers. I know that this is a topic that many people are interested in so I'm writing about it here.
How Does It Work?
So we've answered the question of do Ouija boards work, now let's find out how they work.
The Ouija has all the letters of the alphabet written out, as well as the numbers 0-9, and the words Yes and No. The individuals place their hands on a pointing device that the ghost or spirit uses to answer questions.
As questions are asked out loud to the spirit many people are surprised to find that the pointer moves and does answer the questions. Sometimes even a full dialogue can ensue.
When two or more people, or sometimes even a single person, gather with a strong intent of communicating with ghosts and spirits this creates a psychic or "energy" connection. Most people find that this is relatively easy to accomplish, but again it's closing the connection that can become challenging for many people.
Once the connection is made the spirit will then use the energy from the group to guide the pointer. It will usually seem as if the pointer is moving on it's own but will usually stop moving once the individuals remove their fingers from touching it.
By removing their hands from the device the individuals are breaking the connection to the pointer but this does not break the energy connection to the ghost or spirit. And this is where the problem lies. Many of these "new friends" will often want to continue the dialogue that started only as a fun game.
Uses for Helping Ghosts and Spirits
As I've mentioned on other pages the world of ghosts and earthbound spirits is not a happy place. This is an existence of confusion, sadness and even despair. Many spirits don't even know that they are dead.
When I work with people that can see or feel spirits, called mediums, the first thing I do is to teach them how to help earthbound spirits to cross-over. This is done by gently telling them that they no longer have a physical body, and then offering to call upon transitioned loved ones. More detailed information can be found on my Soul Rescue Manual, which outlines the complete process along with exercises for doing spirit release.
By using the Ouija, the new medium can communicate easier with spirits for the specific purpose of helping them to cross-over. I never recommend helping spirits in any other way other than this specific task.
Many famous psychic-mediums have told stories of spirits that have made requests to contact loved ones, relay messages, etc. When a request like this comes to me my response is always, "Once you're in the Light you'll be able to send your own messages in a way that are personal. That way, they will know that the message is really coming from you." This is usually enough for the spirit to feel enough relief to cross-over.
